Older for me. I'll be 21 this month, and I've gotten 24, and even 27 thrown my way

to be honest i think ide be insulted if anyone said i looked older lol. but then again it all depends on how much older. im 20 so anything over 23 is pushing it. anything older than that and ide start getting paranoid thinking my horseshoe was calling out to them haha.

I've gotten ID'd less since I went sly, but it could be cause I go to the same two bars.

I've gotten both. The Lovely Mrs. Schro (and supposedly all of her friends) think I look older, although two of her very attractive friends think I look younger.
I just turned 43 yesterday.

I'm just curious; how often does this topic come up with you guys?
When getting carded for a movie (R? NC-17? whatever the designation is these days) movie. (OK, that was once five years ago, but still...)
When getting carded buying alcohol at the grocery store and the cashier checks my driver's license and says "Whoa! I was way off."
When I mention my wife's upcoming birthday (and age) at work to someone who's never met her but knows I've been married forever and get asked "Dude, how'd you score the old chick?"

(She's only one year older than I am.)

I have a funny story about a couple things that happened last night and this morning that I thought I'd share. First I went into the store this morning to get a can of skoal for my brother, I had never been to this store before and I had my ID ready and all that. Then the guy didnt even ask for my ID so after I paid for it I asked if he needed to see it and he simply said "You look like you are about 24 so no need to card you" then I told him I am only 19 and he was blown away.
Then last night I was at a dinner with family and friends and I saw my old teacher, he is one of the guys that inspired me to go Sly. He was with his new wife, I hadnt seen him in alittle over a year. When I first saw him I knew it was him but his wife looked old. He looks like he is maybe 32 or so and his wife looked like she was in her mid 40's. They were sitting right behind us and we were talking and everything then when it came time for them to order I overheard it and he ordered a beer and they ID'd him. Then the waiter was like "whoa you dont look 46". Then his wife ordered some wine and they didnt card her. When we were done he was saying how his wife always brags that she looks so much younger than he is but yet he is the one that got carded, it was hilarious.

You can't go by what your Mrs. says. Happy belated birthday, BTW.

younger by a few years. Not a big difference between 55 and say 51.
