Took the plunge

Hello Sly Guys,
I have been lurking this forum for quite some time now and finally took the plunge and went Sly.
I am 29 and I have had thinning hair for quite some time now, at first it was tough because in college I was known for my wacky hair but life goes on right? I currently live in Sweden and a shaved head is kinda in fashion here and well accepted so the transition has been OK. I have been trimming my hair down to a one for about 6 months now and I think the main thing holding me back from going sly was the worry of getting razor burn etc as I have a really sensitive face and have had problems with that. Well last week I took the plunge and I Love it, I'm constantly rubbing my head and I can't wait for the next time to shave. My wife thinks I feel like a tree frog, hence the handle. Thanx for all the tips on the site. I have had no major issues with burn except a patch on the back of my head where I cannot go against the grain and have to be really careful but I'm trying to ease into it by only shaving every two to three days. I'm hoping my scalp will get used to it (not too used to it though as I love the numb feeling) so I can keep it really smooth all the time. Again Thanx for the support.
/Chris

Nice, I'm glad sly works for you. Are you Swedish or ex-pat? I love it up there. I've only been in the summer though.

Hey Chris,
Brother, the shiny dome and shadow of a beard is a great masculine look. Born to be sly, buddy.
