The longest I had my hair was when I was about 17 or 18 when I decided to grow it long like a mate of mine who was a bit of a rocker. Grew it to my shoulders, but soon got fed up of it. Like I said earlier in the thread, by the age of 19/20 I was cutting it shorter and shorter. Had a m0ohawk for a few weeks or so, then number two and one grades, then zero, then SLY.
SLY is by far the best hairstyle I've EVER had

While i was in high school, i was obsessed with the band koRn, i actually grew my hair long and had dreads for awhile, then i decided to go with the trend and cut my hair and get blonde high lights in it. So far i'm liking the sly look the best!

It's amazing how really trendy looks seem so strange with hindsight! (like, would you wear those suits nowadays?!) I got some pretty similar shots, with thin ties and 'big hair' and shoulder pads Ah: the 'good old days'!

I am happy to say...I was so cool...I knew mullets were horrible when they were every where...
I thought they were hideous...never had a mullet...ever....
I went from that cut to a very progressive for the time "short in the back and over the ears cut"...
very progressive for 83! -

What Kind of question is this I lived during the 70's and BIG HAIR 80's of course I had long hair, most of my life it was never shorter than shoulder length it got as far as down to my waist. I had every type of long hair there was from the wild out of control 80's big hair to the mullet

It is really strange now that I think of it pictures weren't a big thing in the groups i hung around back then, not like it seems to be now
