Holiday/vacation 2010
« on: August 20, 2010, 07:46:36 AM »
At the end of September, Madam Ambassador and I will be off on holiday/vacation to Lanzarote.

I am really looking forward to visiting Timanfaya National Park, and seeing Fire Mountain.

Where have/are all you guys been/going on holiday/vacation this year, and what are you looking forward to doing/did you like the most?

Tell us where all the Sly guys have been hanging out this summer.

The wife and I spent some time in South Beach,FL this summer. The hotel we stayed in was great. First class service all the way. I would have to say that the beach itslef was the best part. The beaches here in Texas just don't compare.

Week in Orlando.  It's a great city even without the theme parks.

No "big" vacation this year....the wife and I have gone a different route for 2010.   We live only 2 hours from New Orleans so we are hitting the Crescent City every other month for a 2 or 3 nighter.  We both work 7 on and 7 off, so we can get the absolutely insane CHEAP mid week prices in the the quarter.  You can stay in the best hotels in the city for what you pay for a meal while on a date---in the heart of the French Quarter!  We have found we like the little get away...something to always look forward to, and it will not break the bank.  Man, the romance that is back in the relationship is also a plus!! ;)
