Welcome. You've joined the best site for SBG. As to your question, once you get the "feel" of shaving, there shouldn't be ANY knicks or cuts. And you can shave more than once a day, but that depends on your individual rate of hair/velcro regrowth. Once every 24 hours is usually right for me, but there are occasions when I want the ultimate slick look and feel and , therefore, choose to shave again late in the day or in the early evening.
