O0 Y gou're an easy guy to whom to give assurance. Your posts are always insightful, meditative, worth reading. Colleagues can be blockheaded and invidious; don't let them get you. Own baldness and it will repay you. Prof. Melon

Well, I'm 25 and I think being bald makes me look older. I look fairly young in the first place, so the combination of soul patch, side burns, and bald make me look older. If I were to shave all of my facial hair off, then, aside from looking like an idiot, I would look significantly younger. So I guess it's not only the slick plate but the combination of slick plate and facial hair that makes people look younger/older.

I have people who think I look younger since I shaved my head.  Before I shaved, I had a very receeding hairline in the front which is getting salt and pepper.  My beard is also pretty grey now.  So my current photo, in which my goatee is brown, makes me look a bit younger.  But a friend that I convinced to shave his head even says I look younger bald, even with a grey goatee.

I think what makes me look older is standing in the aisle of a frickin' drugstore trying to remember which brand of blades to buy for my razor.  Finally picking one and getting back to my motel room to find that I've picked the wrong ones.  ugh, being old sucks.  If it ain't alzheimer's it must be mad cow.  Stay away from the Alberta Beef guys, I don't think it's good for you.   :-\

I actually look older with a shaved head. When I put a hat on, I look about 21. People don't even recognize me sometimes. Anybody else have that problem?
