I have almost always wore Levi's, about the only ones that really fit comfortably.

I've never worn Dickies.  I wear Wrangler jeans when working around the house.  Maybe other times when I am in a redneck mood.

Carhartt is pretty fasionable over here, its not cheap that for sure, but then nothing is in the UK!

Dickies is pretty cool, but not really as big over here as it seems to be in the US, definatly limited to workers and skaters funnily enough!

i guess its depends on who u are around here as to what u wear. a lot of outdoor workers and construction types wear carhart. u can tell these apart from your neighborhood thug or dope dealer because they are worked in ,ripped ,and generally dirty. now if they are pressed,smell good ,still have tags hanging from them and are matched to a pair of spotless timberline boots then i wouldn't ask them for directions. lol

now dickies are almost the same but legitamite wearers are out numbering them because of their durability and fit. in the towing business all the drivers are wearing dickies because the knee don't wear out as fast. in the winter here most people that work outside wear either carhart or walls insulated coveralls.
