I posted something up when it happened but if you don't know, December 12th I was on a boat in rough seas, got tossed while sleeping and ended up breaking 4 ribs. (It ended up being some cartilage damage and 5 ribs.) Somehow a fracture ended up in the front even though I wasn't hit there.
Long story short, it's now 1 month and 2 days and I'm full swinging a pitching wedge no problem. I can even put some oomph into it. I'll hit more in a few days after I evaluate how today makes me feel tomorrow. lol
Wow, what an experience. 3 weeks of being hepped up on goofballs, sleeping in a lazy boy recliner, couldn't cough or sneeze without groaning and forget about sneezing. If anyone you know ever breaks ribs, please be extra nice to them. It's quite a miserable experience.
Anyway... it's good to back to the land of the living. I think I need a few days of detox to get the drugs and microwavable food out of my system. Any suggestions? Thank you everyone for giving me a nice place to go while I was stuck on my ass most of the time and bored out of my mind.
Cheers!
Congrats bro!
Funny how all that makes you appreciate good health even more!
Good to hear you're back on your feet Cheese, it must be satisfying to be free of that experience. For Detoxing you should think about drinking green tea, it should have the antioxidants that will help get it out of your system.
Stay well, keep perfecting the swing
Glad you're better. Broken ribs are no fun at all.
Lots of water will do you good.
That IS..... The Power of Cheese............
