I was travelling home on the bus last night and across the gangway was a little kid - aged about 5 laden down with bags having been out Christmas shopping with her mum. She started staring at my bald head and - as little kids do and much to the embarrassment / amusement of her mum she asked me why did I have no hair, ' Did I stick my fingers in a plug socket and all my hair fall out ?' I laughed and explained that I shave my head, which for some reason she thought was hysterically funny. She asked if she could feel my head, I said yes and she leant over and rubbed my head, which she said felt just like her cats tongue!
lol...cute story Sean, thanks for sharing...
Wow! I wonder if she shaves her cats tongue!!!!!
cats tongue...thats funny. First time I have ever heard that one..lol
Funny, and a new word for velcro!
Yeah, they say the darndest things, often to the chagrin and great embarrassment of their mothers.
I once had an 8 yr. old boy look up at me and call me "Lightbulb Head." I laughed out loud, his mother melted into her shoes, and I said, "It is kind of bright, isn't it?" From the look on his mother's blushing face, I believe they may have "had a talk" on the way home.
Yea...kids are funny with those things..
you can know a kid for years then they finally ask why you don't have hair...
funny, I'm BBC and the parents still get all weird and make apologies for it!
Little kids are funny. Their imaginations come up with some great stuff.
