I will be 58 next month....some people say I look a lot younger and some people ask me questions about my social security benefits and you have to be at least 62 to get them....so I guess it depends on the persons view of you.....

for those of us who worry about looking older (like me, I admit); i always liked this comment by Tinna Fey; she said when people ask her age she says "I'm 50 " (she's really 35) . They say "Hey, you look great ! ).

Since there have been a number of responses to this, I'm curious to know if this is a topic that comes up often for you guys. The people I'm close to already know how old I am and I don't usually have a reason to announce my age to strangers, so I have no idea if people think I look older or younger than my age.

For most dudes having a slick bald head creates the opposite..
years are shed off..

Some people say I look older with a shaved head, but I don't really care because I always wanted to look older. Maybe in a few years time I'll be the opposite and wish I looked young!!

i recently had to wear a wig for a part in one of my Amateur musical shows ('The Boy friend', and i was told by the older ladies that I looked younger, but the younger girls said they liked me better without hair, so maybe its all a matter of opinion!

I hope not, some of us on here are nearly pensioners so it would not be very nice to say you looked seventy, i think the younger ones look older and us older gents younger, the secret is to have a younger lady with you.

Not for me....I'm nearly as old as you and have no desire for a younger lady.....besides I already have one and she's 3 years younger....that's good enough for me....

Why?
What I really meant was that all my life I looked sort of young and 'innocent'

But now I'm looking how I want to look and i don't really care if I look older or younger: it doesnt really bother me. i guess as I get older I'll start wanting to look younger though!

It's actually the opposite for me. I've been told I look younger when I shave my head. The fuzz and scruff on my face and dome tend to make me look a little older than I am.
