Head Slick Shave Cream question

Read many posts expounding the benefits of Head Slick on the site so I bought a bottle yesterday. The menthol felt good and the shave was fine, but had trouble with it clogging the blades. Is that common? I also saved a few bucks and bought the Sensor knockoff by Personna as it was half the price. Maybe the "discount" blade is the problem?

Are you using triple or double blades? I've had problems with it clogging the triple blades, but it doesn't clog my doubles much.

Never had it clog my HB triples, rinsing after two strokes maybe three.

I use shaving oil and then put Headslick on top of it and I haven't had any clogging. I use the Quattro razor. As long as I rinse the razor every few swipes, things are great.

I am having problems with this shaving cream. After I put it on, lather it in, it seems to go away quickly. Do I have too much water on my head?

It souldn't be because of too much water. It won't lather like foam. Are you shower shaving? Maybe your getting water spray while shaving?
Oh, and I tried the personna razors and hated them.... so my biased opinion is those crappy blades

I use generic Atras and experience no clogging with Headslick.

Same here. I also use the Atra's and HB doubles, and no clogging either. Rinse after every couple of passes.

So this doesn't later up well? Haven't tried it yet, but as soon as my fusion gel runs out I was gonna try the headslick next...but I like that foamy/heavy lather feeling.

Yeah, Headslick isn't intended for having much of a lather effect. It does lather up a little bit, but not like a typical shaving gel or foam. But trust me man, it works better than those other shaving gels/foams.
