Baseball Playoffs

Anybody going to watch the MLB playoffs? I'm betting the Chicago-area SBGs are quite interested since both Chi-town teams made it in. I for one, being a Braves fan, was amazed that for the second consecutive season, the Mets imploded down the stretch. And the Yanks, in their final season in Yankee Stadium, didn't make it in! Yet both teams from Chicago and both teams from LA are in.
NL:
Brewers (Wild Card) - Phillies (East Champs)
Cubs (Central Champs) - Dodgers (West Champs)
AL:
Angels (West Champs) - Red Sox (Wild Card)
White Sox (Central Champs) - Devil Rays (East Champs)
Anybody wanna make some predictions?

I'm a Yanks fan also and even though I would like to see the Cubs take it all, I think the Angels will !!

I think it will be a Cubs / Angels WS this year with the Cubbies taking it going all 7.
What a game last night...still licking my wounds this morning.

Go Rays and Cubbies
I'm not really much of a baseball fan (after all it IS football season) but you just have to root for a team with a guy named "Fukudome" on it

I realized I didn't even make my own prediction... I'm losing it apparently lol. I didn't think the Cubs would make it past the NLCS at best - don't know why they just can't seem to get past the hurdle.
NLCS: Dodgers v Phillies
ALCS: Angels v Rays
WS: Dodgers v Rays
Champs: Dodgers
I'm going out on a limb and saying the Rays will have a magical year similar to the Rockies last year if they can get past the Angels. I hope the Dodgers beat the Phils in the NL and I do think it would be interesting to have an all-LA WS.

I'd love to see Torre go all the way and shove it in the face of the Yankees for thinking he was done, and to add insult, he'd be doing it with Manny

Oh well, at least I picked the Rays to get to the WS! I gotta say the Red Sox comeback during Gm 6 was awesome. I really enjoyed Gm 7 though and if I were to pick an AL team from here on, I'd go with the Rays. Seems like a team of unknowns who enjoy playing well together. Refreshing.
