I've had a few but the one that got the best recognition was my 1976 Towncar, Plymouth Prowler purple, black vinyl top, tinted windows, aluminum blade rims, dove gray leather interior with plush factory installed shag rug. I'll have to see if I can find a picture of it. Took 1.5 years to do the body work on it so it was straight and smooth.
Had a lot of fun in that car. 18.5 feet of pimp'n style.

Probably means nothing to most people on here, but my favourite vehicle was my dad's 1967 Austin 1100, which I learned to drive in and drove for the first three or four years after I passed my test. It was a great old car. The year it became an official 'antique' (25 years old) I was offered quite a bit of money for it from someone who did them up and collected them. I refused, saying my dad would never part with it - then, two months later I applied the break too hard on a wet road, skidded and smashed into a wall. Luckily I was OK, but the car was done for.

1965 Barracuda MOPAR Baby!!

Slip positive traction was awesome. I use to mix regular (thats leaded for the youngsters) gas and the highest grade unleaded. Car never coughed, smoked (except the tires), and sounded awesome with the 1/4 cam.
I did have to put bags of cement in the fenderwells to keep the backend from jumpin.
Totaled it on a chick that ran a stop-sign. Funny thing was I was more worried about her than my car, and I was 18 years old. She was ok and so was I until the insurance company gave me the royal screwing!!!

1985 Nissan 200SX. It was a mid-year model and I bought the first one sold in our town so therefore it turned a few heads. This was the first model to wear the Nissan nameplate and was also a 50th Anniversary special edition. In fact the nameplate on the grill said "Nissan" and the one on the trunk above the tail light said "Datsun". Mine was navy blue.
....I also got married in 1985, and ever since then have only owned used minivans.

It's a tie for me between a 98 Mitsubishi Eclipse (Red) and a 00 Mustang (Black). Though I do love my 05 Equinox (Silver), I kinda wish I still had the Eclipse - awesome car.

Well back in the early 90's when I was between jobs. I totalled out my Pontiac Turbo Sunbird, cherry red, I didnt have alot of cash sitting around. I had to resort to this...

But let me tell ya. I drove that thing to death. I actually drove from SW Indiana, all teh way to Mrytle Beach, drove around all week there and then drove home and only spent $45 dollars in gas. This was in 1992 . I hated it when I sold it because even though it sounded like a rubber band car when it started, I never had any trouble with it. It was a little 3 cyclinder and easy to work on. Wish I had it again today to just run around in.

There have been so many that its hard to say...
Was it the '70 AMC Hornet that a college friend and I drove from Columbus OH to Victorville, CA in 35 hr 47 min...
Was it the '64 Dodge Dart with the slant 6 and pushbutton shift...
Was it the '62 Pontiac Tempest convertible that I bought for $25...
I think it was probably the '89 Nissan Pulsar NX. It was a little black coupe with t-tops. I was really sad when some idiot balancing a cell phone on his shoulder smashed into it.

WELL... my favorite was my 76 Jeep/cj5 with a 360/dual quad set up .crower cam, B/M 5speed BEEFY trans 6" suspension lift 4"body lift 40" dick cepek monster muders ya COULDNT get her stuck ! have ya EVER seen a truck do REVERSE wheelies ? she would lift her "dress" 12" of the street , jump beer bottles just by dumpin her clutch . Her top and doors came off in may and didnt go back ON till halloween !2 fuel pumps , a electric at the tank and a holly super pumper on the block she was a good river runner , as long as ya kept her carb outta water you could completely submerge the rest ! but with those great big balloon mudders she would just about float with the shortie headders and hooker mufflers under water she sounded like a big block EVENRUIDE!
