I would say I rarely see a rug. The guy down the hall from me at work used to have one, but not long after I went SLY last Summer he showed up SLY.

While the sly look is very common here in Vegas, it's not hard to spot insecure guys who think they look better with pet poodle on their head. Head out to any hot spot and it's like shooting fish in a barrel.
The best of the worst rugs I've seen was on the General Manager of one of the car dealerships my former employer owned in the LA area. It was so bad that it was all the other members of my team could do to keep from laughing everytime they saw him. One day it was extremely humid and by mid afternoon the rug had started receding and the front of it was even with the front of his ears. I don't know if someone mentioned it or he saw himself in the mirror, but by the time we left that day the rug was back to it's "normal" position.

One of the juvenile officers from the PD was bald as a cueball on top, to his credit.....no combover. But one year, I think it was about '94 or '95 he lines up 4 weeks of vacation and 2 weeks of holidays consecutively. People kept asking him why 6 weeks all at once and he said that he was vacationing to some exotic locale. So for a month and a half nobody sees this guy until one day he shows up with a full head of hair. Problem was that the color was totally off, dark brown, and the sides and back were salt 'n' peppa brown but not the same brown as the rug. Man, did he have to take a bunch of $h!t when he came back.

I have a good friend who has a "rug" and I have never said anything -I would never hurt him and I think he thinks that I have never noticed because it is a "real good one" and he has it styled regularly - - - -

I used to see one every day -- when I looked in the mirror! Agree with previous post that good ones are pretty undetectable. When I went sly and told my close friends that I got tired of wearing a hair piece -- they all say "shut up, you didn't wear a hairpiece". But I also spent up to $700 / month for my fur.
There are days when I think about getting a sandwich board and walking up and down the sidewalk in front of the local hair club -- if I can help just one guy not go down that path then I would consider it well worth my time.

I have a friend who has a "RUG" and he thinks that no one knows - - -I told him about SBG and he looked at me as if to say: " what are you telling me for?" and it looks so bad - -I can spot a "rug" a mile away - - - started a few years ago when I started to get the "no grow zone" in the back of my now shaved melon - - - - -
