Worst, at a dinner party when I was new to sly. A lot of people were commenting on it and the host kept saying "ha ha, he has cancer!" Imbecile!

Best: Mr. Clean (although I look really young even at 23!). "Dude you look like a totally different person. You could go undercover or somethin!" "Your head is really round." People telling me they like it / scratching it. My ex says I look really good with a shaved head, but she always used to bitch when I shaved it (wtf).
Worst: Skinhead (get that a few times), Only military guys cut their hair like that! White-power, man. Mini-me (said by my boss probably because I'm shorter than he is, but he's insecure and a negative person!).
Some people didn't say anything! Which is cool.
I think most people don't understand why such a young guy shaves his head, or I must be some extremist or something. I don't really want to make that impression on people because I'm quite the opposite.

Ive been bald for so long that everyone thinks of me as a completely permanently bald man. I've been called all the names and to be honest, I actually like them. My friends and co-workers have called me "Skinhead or Cueball" for years. We have a deputy commander in the dept that calls all the officers that shave their heads, "Baldie". When several of us are standing together, he refers to us as the, "Baldies". lol. By the way, the deputy commander that does it shaves his head also.
I like the names and I'll answer to any of them. I tell people they can call me skinhead, cueball, bullethead, chromedome, baldie, Kojack, slick but just dont call me late to dinner... An old one but still effective. -

yup totally agree with Jason.some people just cnt figure out why such young guys would start shaving their heads,they do actually think that we are some kinda freaks or extremists.
The best I got are from ladies, a drunk chick wanted to orgasm on my head LOL,am serious though.

Best - That I look "badass" from my 14 yr old son who is now trying to convince me to get some tats.
Worst- "Mini-me" which I was expecting to hear once I started shaving anyway. I usually get it from other bald guys trying to be funny. I'm 4'9" so I need all of the badass I can get....

Worst: The worst thing so far was when my 4-year-old said to me in a very concerned voice a few nights ago that he didn't like my head anymore because he had somehow mixed up "bald" and "old" together in his head, and ventured that bald-headed dudes are one step in the grave just like really old folks. After I corrected him, he went to sleep much relieved.
Oh -- also got the "are you in chemo" quip from my mom -- she's an odd duck.

Funniest: When I noted on an earlier thread here that someone asked if I had cancer, and one of the Brothers supplied the answer that I've used on the one or two other people that have so commented, "No, Libra actually!"
