Manumission
« on: February 10, 2010, 06:02:39 PM »
http://www.fightceuticals.com/

So here is my review of the Fightceuticals line of products by Manusmission, they are a fairly new company and they make a skin care line and a fight/gear line so I figure that there directive and Clientele is catered to the MMA and would branch out to Military, Fire and Police or anyone who wants a pretty innovative line, and thanks to Tyler for splitting up the samples. I was gonna wait a week to give the ultimatum in regards to there line but I feel that confident in the quality of this line to post up only after a day of usage...Tyler received the following and split it up with me.
Face Wash
Body Wash
Shave Gel
Facial Moisturizer

First off here's what I want to add in and this is from the site
INGREDIENTS NOT USED

Manumission is equally committed to the performance and the safety of our formulas. Manumission specifically excluded the
following questionable and/or dangerous ingredients from our formulas:

    * 1.4 DIOXANE
    * alkylphenol ethoxylates
    * benzene/benzoic acid/benzyl benzoate
    * coal tar
    * dibutyl phthalate or phthalates
    * diethanolamine (DEA) triethanolamine (TEA)
    * diazolidinyl urea
    * formaldehyde
    * imiadazolidinyl urea
    * isopropanol/isopropyl alcohol
    * lead acetate
    * mercury
    * methylisothiazoline or MIT
    * parabens: methyl and propyl and butyl and ethyl paraben
    * petrolatum
    * petroleum distillates
    * propylen glycol
    * PVP/VA Copolymer
    * Stearalkonum Chloride

So on with the review......
   All four of the products have a similar smell which is very pleasant and refreshing and have great ingredients that help clean your skin, leave you feeling refreshed and give your head a face a great shave without any irritation, I know alot of people are big proponents of Aloe Vera and Glycerin which are in these products as well as tea tree oil and eucalyptus oil and the Shave gel has added menthol in it. The Face wash is great, it left my face really clean and extremely refreshed and I felt my face tighten up a little bit and it rinsed of easily. The Body Wash lathered up really well and left my skin really smooth and without stripping of oils. The Shave Gel just kicks but, I applied about a nickel size and applied it on my face and head and it claims to be a non-foaming I would have to agree, the shave I got from it was really great and helped my blade glide pretty well and it I didn't have to keep reapplying water on my head to get the shave gel lathered up and I got no irritation whatsoever....this is the first gel that I've actually enjoyed and I'm really suprised how well it worked. The Moisturizer is nice, its non greasy and goes on rather thin and keep my head super smooth, I'm pretty much sold on this one because they threw in Vitamin E in the mix, which every Slybaldguys should be using IMO. So there you have it I think its a great line and as soon as I use up the rest of the Shave gel and  Moisturizer I'm gonna purchase some. All there products are outstanding as far as I'm concerned.

Cheers - Ryan

I agree with Ryan's post.  These are some great products!!  I'll post up a product by product review next week.

Thanks for the review SS. I'm thinking about ordering the starter kit. The products are a bit pricey but it sounds like the quality may be unsurpassed.

The Owner, I recall his name being Dan is very huge on supporting the military and does donate to numerous veterans cause, I've exchanged a couple emails with him and he is a very stand up and squared away individual.....so he has my attention and my loyalty to his line, the starter kit is very cool and worth the 50 bones and if any one is short on the funds I would strongly advise on getting the shave gel and then either the face wash ( which btw works great for aftershave cleaning as well ) or the moisturizer, but the shave gel is a must....absolutely no irritation and a smooth shave, and for the record I haven't been using any pacific shave oil.

Thought I'd revive this topic.

I've seen the ads here and looked at their website, which lead me to read the reviews here.

I'm in favor of supporting the site's advertisers when warranted, but ...

The reviews are quite positive (from a couple of years ago). Is anyone using this product, and would care to give an update on likes/dislikes.
