Recently, there's been a lot of sightings of U.F.O's over Britain.. but this story recently made the news
(you can also listen to the recording of the emergency call)

I think someone might have had just a little too much scrumpy!!

Scrumpy Jack is a brand of dry cider , 6% alc. vol., produced in Hereford by Bulmers , a subsidiary of Scottish & Newcastle in the United Kingdom . Scrumpy Jack is also produced under licence in Australia by Carlton & United Breweries . It was first produced in 1973 by Symonds Cider and English Wine Company of Stoke Lacey

real Scrumpy is actually a traditional kind of cider (normally)  from the West Country and it'd
knock ya block off if you drink too much of it!!

To be fair, MB, the guy was Welsh.  It rains so much there he probably hadn't seen the moon properly before through the clouds.

LOL....I feel compelled to weigh in on the "cider" or "scrumpy" as MB calls it.  Last year while tailgating at the ND-Michigan State game,  a buddy who is a regular at our tailgate produced a milk jug of "cider" and said..."try a glass of this!"   Now I had consumed about 7-8 beers at this point which is a pretty normal intake and was a bit S&*! faced so I tried it!  Went down smooth,  it looked like cider...smelled like cider....tasted like cider....but about 10 minutes after downing that glass I was FUBAR!!  BIG TIME!!  Never did make it into the game that day...sat in a lawn chair and tried my best to keep the parking lot from spinning and I needed assistance getting home!   Haven't been that gassed in awhile and I swear to this day that that "cider" was the culprit!
