Hello SBG's! I was reading Tyler's post about how to use a HeadBlade and it got me thinking. I wonder what type/brand of cartridges my fellow HeadBladers preferred?
So I'll start this poll a rolling and leave it active for 30 days.
Since I am pretty new to using a HeadBlade (1 month) I have only used HeadBlade Triples and Sensor 3 knockoffs. I have gotten the best shave with the HeadBlade Triples and is currently what I have a supply of. However I have heard some Headbladers say they get the closest shave with Atras or Atra knockoffs.
What do you say? Vote and tell me why you prefer the cartridges you use.

Started with the Headblade trips, changed, didn't like results (kept getting nicked) went back to HB trips and now problems in 1 1/2 years.

For my first headshave I used HB doubles and had many cuts and nicks. So I changed on Triples. But the shave is not as smooth as with doubles.
After a learning phase (about 2 weeks) I went back to doubles and now I know how to use them without getting cuts and nicks and get a baby-butt smooth noggin!

Thanks.

I'm also an Atra generic (knockoff) user. I've purchased knockoffs at both Long's and SaveMart. Both worked great.
Reason? Cheaper!!!
I've gotten great results from the generic double blades and not had any reason to try anything different.

I'm using Atra blades myself. The HB blade that came with it wasn't giving me a close shave. The shave is pretty smooth, and it has cut down shaving time by like 10 minutes. I'm getting more irritation and cuts than before, but I figure that'll stop when I get used to it. Only been using it for a week after all.

Sensor Excel.
I got a pretty good shave with the HB Triples but at $8.00 a 4 pack I grabbed some Excels off ebay. They give as good a shave as the HBs and a whole lot cheaper.

I'm currently using Atra knockoffs. For the price, they're hard to beat. I've used real Atra's in the past bought off ebay, and they seem to give a longer lasting shave (as in a few extra hours).
The last real Atra's which I bought at the grocery store weren't worth a damn. They only lasted a few days, after that it was very uncomfortable to shave with and the whole package was like that. I should have returned them.

I use headblade triples, I get a great shave with them. I want to try the atras but I got another 2 packs of the HB trips and I never want to experiment when I know the HB Trips will work so well.

I have both HB triples and Atra knockoffs. I don't really notice a difference. But it's nice to get the extra little thingy-madoodads with the HB razors. So I use a lil of both, really. Well, I think with the HB triple blades I seem to not need to make as many trips over my head, but it could be my imagination. Shaving twice a day really means I'm just shaving the tiniest stubble at any given time.
