Combovers I've encounterd
« on: June 19, 2008, 10:24:33 PM »
Hello all of my SLY Bro's. My g/f and I just returned from a street festival in a nearby town and I just had to pass on some of the things I saw and encountered.

First I want to let you all know that I ran into several SLY guys at the festival passing on the customary "nice haircut" greeting and knowledge of the SBG forum. Which was all very good.

But I must tell you that there were several (10-12) individuals that really needed to come to the SLY side if for nothing more than society's sake.

There were 4 combovers that I wanted to chop off with a pair of sissors (but I only had my pocket knife and my g/f was afraid that the POPO :popo would cart me off to jail if I succeeded in the deed).

As well, there were several others who, like myself at one time, were desperately trying to hold on to the VERY sparce folicals left on their mellon.

One guy looked so bad that my g/f/ commented to me that "he looks like a wet chicken fresh out of the egg". LMAO :*)) :*))

Sorry guys but I just had to pass this along. It reinforces to me the fact that the SLY side IS the only way to go!!!

You're preaching to the choir my friend  :)

Since going sly I've been more aware of the bad comb overs as well!!  Especially on Law & Order, the old ones.  The comb overs are everywhere lol.

I used to work in the downtown here in Calgary and there were a few combovers we'd see every day that were just terrible.  Those poor guys.

What I really loved was the stiff combover that would lift up like a sail in a heavy wind....

This is one of the councilmen on our city's municipal government.  A fine example of the the classic denial combover.

He's been re-elected multiple terms.  In these days of "image" politics I have no idea how  ;D

Oh that's just beautiful! $c#m Starts just above the ear and lands all the way over on the otherside. Does he use two sided tape to keep it in place? :*))

Political commentator Pat Buchannan :/O, and they put him on television w/o any warning that the following scene may contain, etc. etc.  There ought to be a law!

I used to work with a guy on the PD who had a wicked combover. It started abve the ear on one side and I always thought of it like flopping a spoonful of wet spagetti over the top of his head. One year, when he was in juvey, he arranged to take all his vacation weeks (6) in one group. Made up a storyabout going to the Riviera or some such trash. When he came back to work he, all of a sudden, had a full head of hair! The only problem was that the toilet seat had gone gray and that his rich, luxurious hair that "appeared" atop the melon was his old dark brown shade.
I guess he figured if he was gone from the job long enough that people would forget that he used to be bald on top.
Suffice to say.....he was wrong.

And the sad thing is he thinks he looks good and no one notices!
