hey guys,
for those of you who own some wahl balders i have a question for you? what do you really think of them? do they do the job well enough or what? i'm not quite ready yeah to go completely smooth, but i'm getting there! i was just wondering if the wahl balders get closer than just regular clippers without the guard? if so, how much closer? thanks for your time guys!

I wasn't really impressed with them, either. If you want to go that short, just shave your head smooth and let it grow back for a day.

I find they do the job quite if I'm using them as part of the process to go smooth bald again after a grow-out; they'll take the fuzz off my head to a length that is really easy to wet shave. However, I wouldn't use them to cut my hair in a way I'd want to keep it.
