Experiences with Panasonic ES8077S Vortex Linear
« on: June 11, 2008, 09:08:36 AM »
I have read a few reviews from Amazon and other sources regarding this shaver and want some input from my fellow Sly guys. It is a bit expensive at $129 for the complete system. But if it is the godsend that some purport,i might have to save a little and buy it.

What do you guys think? Is it really that much better than my Bic triple blade and shaving oil combo??

Jim

Guys, with all due respect to everyone else's shave routine I have to say that my experience with my Panasonic Linear Vortex was very, very good.  I followed the method on the Definitive Head Shaving video and only had slight irritation at the middle of my neck area where my hairline would start.  It did not even visibly razor burn.  It was just a bit tender.  The shave was close enough that I could get by with it without a blade follow up.

It is however a large expenditure to make as an experiment.  Keep in mind that I am only 12 days into shaving my head on a daily basis.  Jim if you decide to go forward Amazon has a great deal that will save you $30.  PM me if you're interested in that.
