OK BJ, I'll watch it. BTW, you're looking less like a member of Purple Man Group on my monitor at home.
I can add another name to my list.
Seems SimplyRed has been calling me (in several threads) a member of the Purple Man Group. First of all he's got his colors mixed up. It's the Blue Man Group.
I suggest he gets a repair man to fix his monitor.
I'm not blue and I'm certainly not purple. I'm Caucasion.
SimplyRed you wouldn't want me to call you SimplyMean.

Not by some guy's standard around here...some dudes around here have tried to get away with a real short buzz being "sly" or even those every couple day shavers...

A sly guy has to be vigilant. We don't want any more backsliders like Jesse Ventura, Billy Zane, or Kelly Slater. It's criminal to allow a great looking dome to be marred by stubble or hair.

I know what you mean, though. I came across this page a little earlier tonight. He's got just a hint of stubble, but it makes a huge difference. It's grey and it really makes him look like an old man:

I started shaving because of MPB, but even if I could grow a full head of hair, I think I'd really be considering shaving it all once I got a lot of grey. Looking old is not my thing.

Let me rephrase...in some interviews he said in a minute he would grow his hair back if something was found that would regrow it...he hates being bald...
now the forced SLY by MPB helped enhance his cool personna and f-it attitude...
would having hair this whole time given him that same trademark rebel dude attitude?

Probably not. And an even bigger consequence would be that the sly movement might have never caught on to the extent that it has. I think Bruce is probably the person most responsible for getting white guys to shave their heads.
Moby also made some comment one time that he'd give up all the money he'd earned in his career if it would get him his hair back.
I mean, bald + rich = win-win situation, right? Who wants to be hairy and poor?
