WHAT's your neighborhood football stories?
« on: May 23, 2008, 09:20:31 AM »
hello fellow chrome domes:  remember playing neighborhood football as a kid?  it brings me some fond memories when i was growing up in chicagoland.  we usually have a good group of kids:  5 versus 5 or  6 versus 6.  we would have the "5 MISSISSIPPI RULE".  remember that rule... we would have 2 yell out:  1 mississippi, 2 mississippi, 3 mississippi, 4 mississippi, 5 mississppi and then we were able to tackle the quarterback. O0  how 'bout the "do over" rule?  if a "team" messes up a play... it would B an automatic "do over". ;D

the best part when playing neighborhood football as a kid was the winter most especially when it snowed.  that was fun!  so... how 'bout U?  did U play neighborhood football as a kid?  did U have the "5-MISSISSPPI RULE" and the infamous "do-over" rule?  U heard my story?  what's yours?
