best razor to use and which shave gel? - page 2 -

• I have tried many combinations of creams and razors. For me I found that a high end electric Braun gives a great shave with 0 irriataion. I always managed to get some with a blade shave.

  as for cream, i am not picky, i usually use the stuff that my roommate buys for her legs, i am not sure what it is.

• I use either my HB sport or classic with an Atra or similar cartridge mainly.
  I use HB Headslick, Kos Alphagel, Bald Guyz shave gel in a rotation weekly. I also throw in a shave with the KoS oil here and there to change it up.
  You just have to experiment and see what works well for you.

• welcome darknight:  i use the fusion (manual), shave secret, headslick, and alcohol spray, followed by witch hazel.

• I'm using the headblade sport currently - with tripleblade.
  
  The baldes tend to lose effectiveness quite soon, but most blades fit the HB, so it's not too much of a problem getting hold of new ones.
  
  I either use palmolive or gillette turbo gel with it.
  
  Both are pretty decent shaves, but i think the turbo gel offers a closer cut.
