hello fellow chrome domes:  just the other day i was late for an appointment.  there was a never-ending train that caused me 2 B late.    so... how 'bout U?  what things, situations, people that make U late?  what's your story?

This is a pet peeve of mine too. I can not stand tardiness, especially before big plans. A good friend of mine and his wife are notorious for this.

I used to have a problem sleeping through my alarm clock but having a little boy ,no need for that anymore. He is the best alarm clock in the world. Every day,regardless of a power failure, he will get us up at 6-7am sharp.

Can't stand to be late and can't stand people who are rude and are late.  It is just common courtesy to be where you need to be, when you need to be there.

the THING that makes me late is my wife. the only thing she will not be late for is her own funeral. which i hope is a very very long time away. she is always late for everything. drives me crazy.

Getting laid usually knocks me off sked.

If you are not early, you are late.  That is my motto.  I'm the first into work everyday, the first to my meetings and early to all others. 

My wife is totally different.  It is just about the only thing we argue over.  She can't be on time if she has 2 hours to get ready (always needs 2 hours and 10 minutes).   

I'm with you all the way on this one herronm.     I have always went by the same motto and always will.  It's my feeling, especially for work, that if you show up right at the time you are supposed to be clocking in then you are late.  Because you have to account for the time it's going to take you to get into the building, get ready to work, etc...I can't stand people being late for anything.  My wife has calmed me down a bit about this since we've met.  But I use to get up and walk out of a movie theater to get my money back if people would come in late after the movie started.  Then when I use to work I always had at least one co-worker that would come in late all the time.  One day they came in and said, "Sorry man, hung out too late last night and couldn't get enough sleep."  Who's frickin' problem is that.  Take responsibility.  If you are going to "hang out" like that then know that you are going to have to be adult enough to get your butt up and drag it into work on time.  Let me stop.  I could go on about different situations all day.  Uhhh...Yeah, but I HATE tardiness. 

No ..not here..my wife she is a saint on getting ready compared to my 14 year old daughter.  Im late for work everyday because I have to wait on her ass to get ready for school.  It will be like 5 minutes before 8 and she will still be walking around looking for her shoes.  What ticks me off is when time runs that short...she will even come back down stairs in another outfit.....Like we have freakin time for that.  So I wil have to say its my daughter....

I was late for work yesterday.
Bad day in the office on Thursday meant working late.  Friday morning was warm and sunny, so I decided to chill out and take the bike.  I only live a mile rom my office but somehow I clocked up over 30 miles on my route in.
I felt better though.
