Mel, All I can say is "WOW". That's one blessed mother and baby.
Thanks for sharing.
That is a blessing..but imagine what the outcome could have been. Yes it did bring a smile to my face...but come on people...baby next to second story open window...

True Timmay, it could have been much worse. I'll bet that mother is thanking her lucky stars.

Mel, Your post reminded me of a story I read about a few months ago. An apartment block in Germany caught fire. In desperation to save a loved one a family dropped their 9 month old little baby boy out of a 3rd floor window into the arms of firemen below. The baby survived and received no injuries however 9 people died in the fire, 5 of them children. The photo broke my heart.
Great find and share Mel. I'm so glad the baby is ok. It's sort of some mixed emotions for me though. For one I just can't believe that they would put the baby on a bed NEAR AN OPEN WINDOW!!!!!!

C'mon. Second, I think the mother should get some kind of charge to teach her a good lesson. I know that she may have went through enough already with what happened to her child but as we all know, sometimes that isn't enough for everybody. I'm not saying lock her up for years. But something.
What are the chances that this mail carrier was there just by chance? She had a special delivery there THAT day.
Just something to ponder.............
