hey all...just sorta confused here..........and believe me Im not crazy. For the life of me I cant figure out why people constantly walk in my work place and want to pay their gas bill. I look at them like...OK...this is a flooring store...not a public utilities office. They look at me like Im pulling their leg and they say...well where in the hell does one pay their gas bill??? I just look back at them and say at the Utilities office..which is located one street north and 2 blocks west. They grab their stuff like they are aggreviated and walk out.
? It has happened twice today already and we get maybe 1 or 2 a week that walk in here wanting to pay. Maybe I should just start taking their money...LOL

THIS IS TOO OBVIOUS----
First you post up about your gas, then complain when people think it's the gas works and try to pay their bills!!!! What's wrong w/ this picture???
You may have a third thing you can do in addition to store manager, part time undertaker, now RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCING.

Tim can you think of any particular reason why people would be coming into your flooring store and wanting to pay a gas bill??!! Does your stores name bear some semblance to the Utility company or something?
Or maybe Washington,Indiana just has its fair share of stupid people.
I know Sydney,Australia has more than enough, it could probably afford to loan a few out to other cities in the world.
I had a brainless nitwit phone my office the other day asking if my company provided high speed broadband internet. When I informed her we dont, she then asked me what broadband was. I then told her how it works, she said "Well why would I need that, I dont even own a computer?"

I think it's just because they can smell the fumes coming from Timmayy and they just naturally think it's a gas company.

Nah, it's a new division of the Shell Oil Company. Their first fragrance is called "Fuel" .
