hey guys!
My name is Beau, i'm 22 years old, just about 23 and have been losing my hair for about 2 years now or maybe 3. I'm just now starting to accept the fact that there's nothing i can do about it, but i'm still really shy to take off my hat in front of people that i dont know.
I keep my hair really short. i.e just cutting it with clippers without a guard on. I'm very fortunate to have found a GORGEOUS girl whom i've been dating for about a year now, and she loves the way i look. anyways, i'm still pretty new at keeping my hair this short being THIS young and all.
anyways, i just thought i'd introduce myself to yall and i'm looking foreward to talking with some of you guys!

I know a lot of guys that wear hats for that reason...a funny thing is that I would do that before I went Sly, now I proudly show my dome...Maybe it's an alternative you should try...You can always grow back what you had before...

Nah i haven't tried shaving it completely down the to skin just yet... but i'm sure that day will come soon tho! The sad thing is that i see that a lot of the guys here have goatee's and i think that's a good look with a bald head, the sad part about it is that i cant grow one! lol, i've got a baby face and when i DO have to shave it's nothing thick! -

Welcome brother, give the shave a try and you'll have nothing to hide anymore (literally), give it the 30 day trial and you'll be saying the same thing everyone else here has said "Why didn't I do this sooner???"

she's game for it i believe...she said that i have the right head shape for a bald head and that it would be a good look for me also... all i'd really have to do is tan that puppy up!

Being young doesn't mean you can't have a short/bald head. I Love it, my family likes it, my Girl Loves it. You just gotta do what you gotta do, and don't think about stereotypes, whatever makes you happy. I mean, Im 17 with a completely bald palate. So what, people say "white power" and "heil hitler" and "sigheil" when i pass by, but that's just people. You just got to turn the music up, and tune them out. -

It sounds like you're comfortable with clippering your hair down, so now just take that next step and take it off. You will feel free!. Guaranteed you will soon be saying "why didn't I do this sooner", as most of us here have.
