hello fellow chrome domes: i wanted 2 share with U a story that happened last weekend at work in the hospital. i was taking care of a patient who was wearing a "buzzed" horseshoe & i introduced myself by saying: "hello, my name is mel & i'm going 2 B your nurse. it's good 2 C another bald headed person in the hospital".
my patient immediately "laughed" & stated that he hasn't shaved his head since he's been in the hospital which made it 4 days of no shaving. i asked him if he was a razor shaver & he stated... that he was a fusion man but each time one of his family members visited him...they would 4get 2 bring his fusion. i told him that i happen 2 have a brand new fusion (manual) razor in my locker 4 "emergencies" & i gave it 2 him.
boy... my patient was so happy after receiving that fusion. i told him us bald guys got 2 stick together. we immediately had a good laugh. he said it felt gr8 2 shave, again. 
so... how 'bout U? have U ever given any shaving gear as a gift. what's your story?

Mel, what a kind and generous thing to do. No, I have never given a razor or gear as a gift, but I can think of a few friends that I would like to give one to so that they might take the hint

Yea...I gave a guy that had a horseshoe around the head a new Mach 3 that I had "STASHED" away, along with (3) packs of blades.......He was down on his luck and had not shaved in a couple of weeks...........YES we SLY guys need to stick together, thats for sure....

Good idea Mel, maybe I will give fusions out to my customers who are chrome domes, it should be a hoot.

Good story Mel. You really are a nurse that cares. Bet your patients love you.
To answer the question though, no I have never given gear as a gift. I've wanted to give a personality before though. -

That's a great story. Man, I feel so alone over here. I don't know if anybody I know would be that observant if I was in the same situation.
