Hello everyone. I came across this site last week, and it prompted me to dive right in and go for it. I purchased the Headblade gear online and it came Saturday. There was so much advice on this forum and I couldn't wait to get started.
I've been buzzing my hair for about 5 years, going shorter and shorter. Went to the barber on Saturday and had it buzzed with no guard. Came home, got in the shower and went at it. I was a worried I wouldn't do it right, scared about razor burn and bumps. Took my time, went slow and had great success....ZERO bumps, burn or irritation. I followed up with clearhead and aloe.

I'm from Caledonia, MI (near Grand Rapids) and am appreciative for the push you guys gave me. I'll post a pic if someone could let me know how.
Thanks again!
Dan

Right on PianoMan!
You look good bro. Just remember, when that HeadBlade starts getting a little dull, don't press down harder trying to get "one more shave"! That's when I managed to scalp myself and it was a week till I could shave again!

Welcome. Looking good, PianoMan !
I had the same fears about cuts; bumps; etc. but if you use the right products (Gillette Fusion is what I swear by) you do fine. I have rarely had a cut; never had bumps.
So are you a piano player? Same here -- prefer classical ; older beginner.

WOW what a welcome!!
John - I've been playing since I was around 5, and continued through college (Michigan State). I joke that I could read music before I could read books. Stick with it and keep practicing!
