I have yet to say anything like that....too modest.

now down to business. welcome ken. hope you hang around awhile.
When I was 17 a saw a picture of a guy who had a horseshoe style with real long hair and a clump of hair growing out of the middle of his forehead. And when I saw that I thought. "If I ever look like that I am shaving my head."
Me too. Problem is that horseshoe look has a habit of sneaking up on you -- even when you're on the lookout for it. So a lot of us are off in our timing. We don't realize when we've reached the point of "looking like that."
Sounds crazy, but it's true, especially if you're thinning all over. You still have hair on top of your head and no true slick bald spots, and you don't realize how "see-through" it's become. But the important thing is not when you go sly, it's that you get there eventually.
Boy, I relate to that remark! One of the times I grew my hair back, a co-worker pointed out that I was getting thin in the back. That cemented my decision to keep "sly" as my primary look!
Hey Ken, welcome to the SBG site. I said the same thing when I saw my hair was starting to thin. I would always tell people if it starts to get worse, it's coming off, and that's what I finally did on August 2, 2007. I had a bit off help from my bro's here of course, they wouldn't have it any other way.
