Red marks/blotches on head (not ingrown hairs)
« on: January 09, 2008, 12:11:10 PM »
Hey everyone. I wonder if anybody has the same problem as me?

I'm 21 and started shaving my head nearly a year ago, first with no guard and recently with a razor.
There's something that bothers me though, I have a fairly noticeable and large red mark just above my left ear and also there is more of a 'broken up' red mark at the back of my head just where the top of my neck and the base of my skull meet.

Unfortunately I can't seem to find any baby pictures of myself that show these angles so I'm not sure if they're birth marks or not. I'll try take some pictures tomorrow and upload them to get some opinions.

I'd love to know if there's anything I could do to get rid of or reduce these marks.

Maro, welcome to Sly Bald Guys.  Post up a pic and we'll give you the best answer we can.  Though, seeing a dermatologist would probably be the best thing.

Welcome Mario, great to have you with us.  I am with the other bros, any questionable skin marks to be shown to a doctor for appropriate diagnosis and/or treatment.

But Paul, didn't you stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night?
