So what's your favorite type of beer, wine, alcohol, mixed drink, sake and soju?

Beer...and beer. Not much of a wine person...never have been. I'm all over the JagerBombs though. YUM I like whiskey too. Then around Christmas I'll enjoy some Bailey's and coffee. Main reason is one of our vendors gives each of us a fifth of the stuff for Christmas...come to think of it I'm still workin on last year's bottle.

Whiskey.  Old number 7 and its fine family of products for me.  I also like single malt scotch.  In the way of beer DARK ALE.  I do like wine a lot, but hardly have it because I never think of buying it.  I like just about anything Japanese so sake is also a favorite.

I usually drink beer.  My favorites are stouts, porters, brown ales and I'm on an anything Belgium kick right now.  If I drink domestic it's usually Coors.

If I drink wine I'm usually with clients.  In this case I like a good cabernet (No, if anyone orders Merlot, I'm leaving. I am NOT drinking any fucking Merlot!) or a good Italian wine from the Piedmont region of Italy.

If I'm at one of those trendy places I'll drink vodka.  My drink of choice there is an Effen Black Cherry and Soda.  If they don't have Effen, then Grey Goose will do.

I much prefer Jack or Jim when drinking straight or on the rocks.  This is what I'll drink if I'm hanging with a bunch of my buddies or in camp.  We have a rule that only Jim and Jack can be taken into camp.

I do like the occasional Bombay Sapphire martini.  Grey Goose is always good, too, for those types of situations.

That is an outstanding rule!

I don't drink alcohol anymore, had enough beer when I was in high school & college.  It just makes me tired now.  I love this stuff though.

Beer, I brew my own. Usually a stout or a porter, sometimes a wheat beer, like Widmer's in the summer time.

I tried the home brewery thing.  It was a nightmare!  I guess some how over carbonated the beer and had bottles just blowing up on their own.  I had pieces of glass and sticky spots of beer all over the pantry the whole after that I was in that apartment.  Yeah the beer tasted just awful, too.

ar3inc, sounds like you got some bacteria in the wort, and the yeast attacked it as well as the sugar, makes for nasty beer.  Cleanliness is the most important thing in brewing beer.  Purchase a book "The Joys of Homebrewing"  Goes through everything.  Good history on beer also.

;D Beer on a daily basis, wine with the wife and close friends, and single malt whisky [neat] with my real intimates. Champagne for special occasions, although recently I've found the stuff too sweet to swallow. I used to write about the whites [rieslings, Mueller-Thurgaus, etc.] and still virtually unknown reds [mostly Spaetburgunders] of Germany and Austria.  I know some successful home-brewers but prefer micro-brews and imports, Bass, Harp, Spatenbraeu, and the original Czech Budweiser , which now goes by some other name since Annhaeuser-Busch bought the name in the late 19th century. On very snowy nights, Gluewein [mulled and spiced red wine] is warming. Cheers, Professor Melon

Well that would depend on when and where I'm having the drink.

Eating steak: Bass Ale
At a ballgame: Miller Genunine Draft
After a good set at a comedy show: Corona with a lime
Out dancing: Gin and Tonic (Bombay Saphire)
At a lounge with the lay-days: Martini (Grey Goose Vodka)

Wow, I just realized that I am a freak. I actually catagorize my drinks to the events. Perhaps I should seek professional help.
