I'm just sitting here channel surfing and I come across this infomercial for a product called the Infinity Razor. They claim you never have to replace the blades and you get 2 of them along with a trimmer for $19.95. Yea, it sounds to good to be true, but I wondered if anyone's heard anything else about this thing. They claim to have a 30 day money back guarantee. Check it out at "buyinfinityrazor.com".

I picked one up in the close out bin at Walgreens. I tried it one time, on my face, didn't trust it on my beautiful head. There is no swivel in the head, no lubricant strip and has a weird balance. I don't care if the blades never wear out. I'm not using it anymore. Going in the trash.

Maybe that's why the blades never run out ...

I've seen this on TV before. If you stop and think about it, what motive does any company have to market an inexpensive product that never wears out? They won't get any repeat business that way.

Well, I must say I was never tempted to buy one, but now I'm wondering why anyone would even consider it. Sounds like a total waste of money.

Why are the infomercials always $19.95, and why is it always, "Wait there's more, we'll send you two for the price of one, and all you pay are the additional shipping expenses!" This really doesn't make sense, isn't the "Gillette" contribution to economics that you sell the razor cheap and make money off the blades? If it does work, they're out of business because there aren't repeat sales, if it doesn't work, they can only make money if they're selling cr_p and will be "gone pecans" w/in a short time.

it is a worthless razor in a major way; take it from experience
