I've seen quite a few of you guys expound upon the virtues of the HeadBlade. Out of curiosity I picked up a HeadBlade Sport wondering just how much better than my Mach 3 it could really be. Does anyone else think this thing looks like some funky ass Hot Wheel? ;-p
I am really impressed! It's a great shave and I am proud to say that I am now a HeadBlader! Smooth, less irritation from the razor, overall a must purchase for the serious Sly Bald Guy! I'm not convinced the HeadSlick sample I'm using is better than the Aveeno gel I've got, but it is very good regardless.
Two thumbs up for da HeadBlade!

I agree with you there nootch....I have always been a headblader...except for the first 2 times I shaved. After that I went out and bought me the headblade sport. Alot of guys dont seem to like it..they say it is too hard to manuever....but I have finally got it down to where it is hte smoothes shave ever. Even around my ears...i start from the back and come up and over the ear in one pass. I couldnt live without my headblade. I think they need to come out with a vibrating headblade that way it can give you a nice massage while shaving....give em time...they will come out with something new.
Great choice of razors nootch..glad you like it.

Alright n00tch!, That's what I'm talkin' about bro!
Glad to hear you have big ups for HeadBlade, like I always say, it does the job as intended and once you get the hang of it, like our bro Tim said, you will get the smoothest shaves. Stay with it.
I'm at that point now, where I can really clean up around the ears as well. Headblade rules!!
(No disrespect to our Fusion and Mach III fans, of course.)

I am still on a learning curve with the HB Sport, but it does what it is supposed to - a close shave. Also, I have YET to nic myself which surprises me. I am going to try it with Arta Plus or sensor blades this weekend. The included tripple blade drag and clogs like a motha' IMO. All in all though, I would recommend it to anyone.
Its also just looks so damn cool

on my shelf in the bathroom. Like some sort of supped-up Hot Wheels lawnmower or Zamboni

Good to know. In your opinion, would you recommend the double or tripple sensor?

I'm a fan of the double Sensor Excel blades. In the words of Borat - "Very Nice."

Doug, I am a big fan of the Atra plus, they give me the closest and smoothest shaves without a doubt. Sensor's (double) also work just as well.
IMO, double blades just give a better feel overall.

I use HeadBlade trips and Sensor trips...love them both!

I'm sure that I will eventually try every blade out there....that is just way I am.

I did pick up some Sensor Excels last night. I used them this morning. My initial reaction is that I prefer them to the HB triple. They didn't drag as much and the didn't clog as easily.

Nootch Welcome to the Headblade club bro.The Headblade is an invaluable tool in my shaving arsenal. I'd be lost without it.
I use the Sensor Excel doubles and get a glass smooth nick free shave every time.
1 bit of advice, NEVER USE CHEAP BLADES ON YOUR HEADBLADE OR YOUR NOGGIN WILL END UP LIKE THIS.

I've been really happy with the HeadBlade Sport using the HB Triple Blades.
Just as an experiment, I tried a Quattro and the Mach III ... ugh.
After the bleeding stopped, I went over it with the HeadBlade ... 'cause it was still rough to the touch.
Aside from hair and skin differences, is it an issue of getting used to one type over the other? D'ya think that the type of blade you use affects hair growth?
I'm sticking with my HeadBlade ... no more experimenting.
