i have a 2013 chevy cruise,does anybody know what is the best tires for wisconsin weather.

What part of Wisconsin? If your in a city that plows quickly after a snow, any tire will do. I prefer Michelins. There are some winter snow tires, but I heard they can be somewhat noisy.

The important info is how to keep a shaved head warm in the winter! Being from Minnesota, I have some very warm hats.

I'm getting a tire change in the next few months.  I drive my Dad's 2014 Impala and get some maintenance done because he has Alzheimer's.  I want to know what tires I should get.  Goodyear or Michellin.

I always liked Michellin. Had them on a Ford Explorer, they lasted 12years and 65,000 miles.

Yeah, I believe Michellin are good on trucks and vans.  A couple of my Mom's vans have had them and they seemed to work.  Maybe I could get a set of Michellins for the Impala.

The trouble these days is, there?s not much difference for quality between any of the brands because all of the brands have a third-party manufacturer make them for them. I know of the factory in a little town called Freeport Wisconsin, where they?re making Dunlop and Perelli, firestone , Yokohama and about five other brands on the same small factory.!

I think the thing to look for is the design of the particular tire involved you can go on tire racks website put in your making and model of car and they?ll come up with about six or eight recommendations for you for tires that are good for your And they?ll have quite a price range for you to choose from

Until I was 40 I was died in the wool Michelin man since then I use whatever?s recommended for my vehicle and I find that I?ve been getting really good luck out of Yokohama brand tires and even some Hankook.  When I used to auto cross, I used AVID tires

I switch to Bridgestone Blizzacks when winter starts. They're mounted on rims so I can make the switch myself. There's some type of grit in the rubber compound that acts almost like studs without the damage to the road surface.
I'm north of Wausau and I think that's the area where we typically get the second most snow compared to Lake Michigan shore towns and I've never regretted spending the money.

@buddha , yes, you probably need those tires up where you live! And some warm hats. I'm near St Paul Mn, so my all wheel drive suv is nice. Stay warm!
