I would be interested to know how much hair you had lost before pulling the razor out and doing the deed? I was about a Norwood 3, mainly frontal hair loss. I am now about a 5 but keep it shaved smooth. Sometimes when i miss a few days I am amazed by the advancement of hair loss.
I had about 98 percent of my hair left. I just wanted to shave it one time to see what it was like. Four years later, I shave my head daily. I like how it looks and feels, plus so many more positive reasons to sport a bald head.
I shaved when I first noticed thinning. My family and others around me had not even noticed, but my hair was so thick I could tell the difference. I had always told myself I would shave when I started thinning. Now, if I go some time without shaving, the thinning is very noticeable, I have little hair on top.
