I know the membership have some unusual hobbies. One of my favorites is the interstate system and U.S. highway system. When I go to a place multiple times, I like to take different roads, especially if there is no time limit. Now that I am debt free, I plan to do a couple of roadtrips on roads that I otherwise would not travel on. So, are there any other sly road enthusiasts out there?
I like to drive on Compton Road in Northern Virginia. It looks kind of like the Tail of the Dragon in some stretches. I drive full size Chevys, so I don't like roads that are too narrow. Compton Road is fine so long as everyone stays in their own lane.

I drove the Tail of the Dragon a few months back. I was mid-week, so traffic was low. I hear on weekends it gets a lot of traffic.
Before my spinal cord threat got bad I was able to drive the Tail of Dragon with my Miata - lots of fun except for those slow-assed old guys riding Harley Davidsons always slowing the rest of us down!
I am no longer allowed to subject myself to "G" forces of hard turns and curves so my fun driving is pretty much limited to dropping the top on either my Miata or my Thunderbird and driving them "like I had stolen them"!
