Hello forum members
As 2016 comes to and end (for some of us, thankfully), I thought this would be a perfect time to show some lurkers some reasons we went sly/trimmed it down. In fact, I figured it would be a good time to show some before and afters. I know there are a few threads that discussed MPB and pre-sly pics, but I thought that we could start a thread for the entire membership to show their (balding) pics and what they look like when they get lazy (guilty). I'll start with a few of mine.
P.S. Wishing you all a blessed and prosperous 2017!

NOTE: All of these were circa 2012, will post some modern day non-sly pics in a future post.
A few years ago, about 4 weeks of growing, sides trimmed. I was going for high and tight recon look.
@reddog I think you pull off BOTH looks, quite well.

Me after a couple of weeks of growth
This was a cut I grew back after first going sly. It was self cut. Wish I could remember how I did it, although I think I'm receding a little now!
So I just came back to Illinois for the summer and saw my barber here in Chicago for the first time in five months he said, whoa that bald spots getting bigger and moving farther toward the front!
That's ok, it just looks like a little more extreme h&t!
You can still pull off the flattop.

This actually rocks! Not sure you need to worry about recession, essentially the look could work purely with its foward mohawk section. Your snow white hair and tan really make things pop.

But coming up here, it?s gonna really look bad. I don?t know what I?m gonna do. I?m not gonna be able to get to a barber for about six weeks. It?ll really look like hell then.!
@Smooth Jack 😁 , I just went 2.5 weeks without shaving, looked like that photo except shorter, so.today I shaved it smooth as a baby's butt! Man, it looks and feels amazing! I had been shaving a little too aggressive and had some irritation, so I took a break. Before I shaved today, I trimmed it to a severe horseshoe flattop. Gotta say, I liked it!
