Late introduction

Not sure if I should do an introduction as I have been on here before and was re activating my account, but I wanted to say "Hi" again, since I plan on posting and commenting a lot.

I'm Dean, and I'm bald. and I love it.
I have been infatuated with the idea of being bald all my life, since childhood. I had my head shaved in the military in basic but grew it out, and have wanted to be bald but worried about finding a woman.
I haved my head off and on over the years hoping that it would work out in my relationships.

Now that I'm older, I decided that I should not worry about Jobs and girlfriends and just be me. I shaved my head and I'm going to remain bald for life.

My girlfriend loves my bald head and can't keep her hands off of it, so no regrets.

Welcome back, Dean!  I, too, shaved my head as a "mature" man (I was 53).  I stood there looking in the mirror thinking "I don't care what anyone else thinks of it".  I little while later I was bald and have stayed that way.  No regrets!  I love it!

Welcome, Dean! BTW, my mother lived in the East Bay for 22 years until her job relocated her. Enjoyed many summers out there, may have to take a visit there someday.

always wanted very short  hair or being bald all my adult life.  Shaved head first in 1980 before that was more common. no regrets.

Welcome back to the group! It's great when you get the point where you don't care what other people think of your choice to be bald. I used to be worried about what people thought but thanks to the great people on this site I gained the confidence to not care any more and I'm just about to reach 3 years bald!

I agree with Adamski.  It's a really great feeling being comfortable with exactly how you look and knowing you're in control of your head of hair (well, lack thereof).
