Been shaving my head for a few years. Most of the time with a no guard or a little bit more. So I went for the razor today. Wish me luck

Greetings! You look excellent without hair. Glad you've joined us, and enjoy the next 30 days...which probably go on longer, if experience is a guide.

Welcome! The tight buzz looks good on you and the complete sly looks equally good. Have fun and good luck!

Welcome to SBG. You were pretty fast on the uptake for the 30 day rule. Before you know it, you'll be an experienced bald guy and enjoying it.
Post frequently.

Welcome to the group! Lots of good folks on here with great advice to give!
I gotta tell you, that pic you posted with the buzz hair really suits you as well.
I have a few friends and relatives who buzz their head that close but for whatever reason won't go the full sly even though they've seen me make the transition to shaving my head. I guess to each their own and they'll find the time when it's right for them.

Thanks for the support. Day 9 everything is going smooth (no pun intended). Just a quick question. Getting a few bumps and ingrown hairs bump. Best solutions ? I do use Nivea post shave balm. Its nice but maybe looking for something more for sensitive skin.

Based on the recommendations of others here, I started using Bump Patrol to help with the bumps on the back of my head. It works really well! Apply it on the area of the bumps before you put on the post shave lotion. You can find it at Walmart, comes in a blue bottle.
Also, make sure that you are using a light touch, especially in those sensitive areas., when shaving. You don't need a whole lot of pressure to achieve a smooth shave.
