Hi Everyone,
I am new to this forum and really appreciate what you guys are doing.
I am seven months down a FUE hair transplant. The hair in the transplanted area is growing good, but I still feel like a fake and wanna go sly. I used to shave my head before the surgery and I am really missing that look.
The only concern which I have is what to expect if I shave my head. I really concerned whether there would be any scarring in the transplanted (recipient area) area. I am really not bothered about the white dots in the donor area, but the thought of scarring in the recipient area is really what is holding me back.
Would request your thoughts on this….Whether there would be any scarring…It would be great if someone share their experience on this.
Welcome Wannabsly. There are some transplant survivors here. Dig around and read their stories.
Theres only one way to know for sure.
Perhaps you should consult with a dermatologist, 7 months seems a bit too early maybe, i don't know. But you could have fraxel laser sessions to improve the scaring, if there's any.
As wpruitt pointed out, there are some topics about hair transplants around.
Thanks guys.
I looked around but was not able to find any pics of guys who shaved after having a transplant. It would be great if some one can share his pics or share his experiance who have gone this road.
Im one. PM me for details on how I used micro tattoos to fully conceal the scars. My pic is the result.
