Well done! I did mine a year ago - wish I'd done it a long time ago. Now see pics of my thinning hair from before....this is much better!

Heh, it's coming off soon enough don't worry. I'll keep you guys posted and provide you with a much more suitable avatar. Skin issues to deal with first.
And you guys are awesome btw, one of the most supportive and helpful forums I have ever seen.
I bought a headblade for the event, practicing with it on my face and found the 6 blade razor is actually very nice to shave with. Little irritation. Have some oily skin so often get some zits after shaving but I don't shave that regularly. I'm sure if I did it wouldn't happen. Also scalp hair is different.

I'll second BBA's suggestion, Munkynutz (love the name!). We're all waiting for you shave it all off and show us your clean dome. And you know that you want to do it!

Munkynutz, I'm sure you can pull off the bald and bearded look. We are are worst critic so it's normal to be self-conscious about our own look. Look at it this way, you grow the beard, you won't have to worry about those occasional zits you get from shaving as you said. Sounds like a win win to me!

How long have you been talking about doing this now? Time to take the plunge. This is the perfect time to do it. Nothing like ringing in t he new year with a freshly shaved head. If you really want to challenge yourself, how about making a commitment to maintain a shaved head for all of 2015? If you do that, I can guarantee you that this time next year you'll be wondering what you were worried about and why it took you so long. DO IT!

Totally agree start 2015 bald the new year is a great time for trying something new people will not bad as shocked with a sudden new look and if you hate it you can just wear a warm hat all the time tell your hair is back which is totally acceptable in Alberta
