My 'baby' is going to be turning 14 on Saturday. FOURTEEN!! I can't believe how quickly the time flies!! It also reminds me that I'm not getting any younger (physically, not mentally. My daughters probably more mature than I am!!

)
anyway, this is what she looked like ten years ago when she was four..(the top one lol)
and this is what she look like now..(erm, the bottom one

)
just wanted to let those of you know with babies or little 'uns, cherish the moments you have with your kids cos before you know it, they're all grown up and doing their own thing!
Hi Magmababe,
Yep but kids can help to keep you young too can't they?
Anyway, looks like you have a very lovely young daughter.
You must be very proud. I'm sure she's a credit to you
Well said MB, time with family is the most precious of all. You have a beautiful daughter there. And now let the fun begin as you "enjoy" those teen years.
Time flies when you're going nuts

.
Fourteen!?! Wow, you must have had her when you were 9. What's in the water in the UK?
Transatlantic Hugs M-Babe!

they sure do help keep me young sss!

one of my son's did wonder why I could run so fast for an 'old' person though!
I think the only part I'm not too fond about them growing up is that you suddenly become an embarassment to them... although, I do like to use it to my advantage hehe!!

My daughter is fantastic. She's been through a hell of a lot in her young life and has risen above it all. I'm really proud of her, she amazes me.

haha, I can always count on you to put a big ol' smile on my face, thanks Schro!

(and in answer to your question, I have no idea, but there's a lot of it around Gloucester at the moment)
transatlantic hugs back!
My wife and I were talkin about this the other day, our daughter starts Kindergarten next week. She's having a little bit of a hard time letting go, but that is to be expected.
You do have a lovely young lady there Magma, fightin the boys off with a stick yet?
I'm keeping my shotgun handy for when my daughter is older.

lmao I don't need no shotgun Pigpen (although I'd love to have one) I have my own way of putting the fear of god into the little buggers!

thankfully though, boys are more like a fashion accessory with her at the moment,
looks good one day, the next it's out of style

You from Gloucester area then MB? I hung out in Gloucester for a while when I was younger. I had an uncle who lived there -
Hope you weren't hit by the recent floods!
D' you 'ave one o' those sexy West Country drawls then?

so no, I don't talk like a farmer!

although, I'd like to live north somerset/bristol way as it's beautiful down there. (the fact my fella lives there is an added bonus!

I can relate to you somewhat. My oldest daughter is turning 14 in about 2 months and yes time flies. I also have a son who is 9 and another daughter who is 7. It is funny how the age thing really doesnt bother me ...what bothers me most is that this is her last year in middle( JR High) school. Next year she will be a Freshman in highschool and that hurts. This is the first year that all of our kids will be in school all day. No more of this picking the youngest one up from grade K and then having to track across town to get her to a daycare so we can go back to work. But like you said....cherish the younger years because things they do now....you will wish they still did them when they get older...and it wont happen.
Very beautiful!
I DO know what you mean about the time though...I CAN NOT believe it's already been a year that we've had our little guy...
a quick, yet long year....a very good year!!!
You mean you are older than 21? What the heck? Talk about a MILF...no offense
