When I first started head shaving with HeadBlade Sport, I remember the instructions noted that shave the left side of the head with the razor in the left hand the the right side with the razor in the right hand.
Lately I've been using a DE for the head and (probably out of habit) find that I shave the left side with the DE razor in my left hand then switch it up for the right.
Was just wondering what other DE head shavers do?
I only use my right hand. I do use my left to pull my ears and/or skin as needed, however
You must be very handy with both hands. I don't shave my head with a DE but I use one on my face and would never consider using my left hand, unless I'm looking to see blood.
Thanks for the replies

I wouldn't say I'm handy. But when I try to shave the left side of my head with my right hand; and I'm pulling the skin tight with the left, I find that I'm more prone to cutting myself.
I usually use my right but have used booth.
I have been wondering this since switching to a DE razor. The majority seem to hold the razor with their dominant hands only. The few that switch hands seem to be pretty consistent about using Right hand for Right side and vice versa. I found a post from 2008 with some additional input.
I actually use both hands for both sides on the back. It all depends on the direction of my pass.
-Right hand for entire top most of the time
-Left hand for left side
-Right hand for right side
-Right Hand for right side on center to ear direction (and vice versa for Left side)
-Right Hand for left side on ear to center direction (and vice versa for right side)
