i am actually more worried about the possibility of playing oregon in the championship than i was ohio. not calling oregon a sleeper (they do have a very strong program). but they are just not one of the schools normally associated with the top rankings are they?

Tom, I will ALWAYS be an Ohio State fan no matter what.
We fell down hard but, any given saturday, $h!t happens, you never count out any big ten team.
Paully I would have loved meeting you in the title game, but all I can say now is "GO DUCKS!"

We'll be back next year for it all.
we got to step it up next week.

Oh ya gotta love them badgers.

Not normally, but just goes to show you how strong the Pac-10 is. Oregon usually finishes second or third in the Pac-10 behind USC.

Looks like Ohio State and that other team will fight it out for the Big Ten Championship. So long as they can beat Michigan any season is salvaged.
In the BCS poll, LSU is #1 but they have two more games to get upset in; and the way this season has gone, there is a good chance of that. Oregon is #2, never thought I would see that. And Kansas as the only undefeated team is #3.
And don't forget Mount Union! They beat Marietta 57-0 for a record seven shutouts this year. (It was 49-0 at halftime)

As a native of Illinois, I was thrilled to see them win, especially due to their recent history of bad teams. I'm glad to see maybe they are on the upswing again. My sympathies to you Ohio State fans -- it's like a sucker punch in the gut. But as was already said, 'any given Saturday.' It's been a crazy season with so many upsets, and we're probably not over yet.

Wow, this season could force them into creating a college football playoff. How are they going to determine who the top team is?

I just wish Duke would of won, that way they could say "Hey, we might suck, but at least we're not as bad as Notre Dame!!!"
