As one of the winners of the Manumission sweepstakes I wanted to post an update/review on the products. First of all the shaving gel is really good it reminds me of the Fusion ProGlide Clear Men's Shaving Gel by Gillette minus the chemical smell. Word of note I have not had a chance to actually try the gel on my face since I am still sporting my no shave November beard.
That being said I have been using it on the ole noggin and I have no complaints. Maybe it is the texture of my hair (very kinky) but something about the Manumission shaving gel makes shaving my head a lot easier and definitely a lot smoother and cleaner. Just make sure to rinse or wipe thoroughly after using for I have heard of a few cases where users have complained of their skin drying out. Not so in my case but it never hurts to thoroughly wipe or rinse. Also since the gel has performed that well on my head I can only imagine how well it do with facial hair. Manumission is definitely worth the price of admission.
Now for the facial moisturizer again I have not had the opportunity to use it on my entire face. However, I tried it on my scalp and dabble some on my beard and the smell is lovely. Not over scented or zany like Axe or something. No it is a calm old school manly smell in fact if you have a lady in your life use this product you will thank me later.
