Head shaved, McDaniel now in state prison

With a new look and a new identity -- inmate number 788324 -- Stephen McDaniel began his life sentence in the Georgia prison system Tuesday. He pleaded guilty Monday in Bibb County to killing his Mercer law school classmate and neighbor, Lauren Giddings.
