Greetings. I think this has been raised before (not sure where), but it seems that bald guys truly are everywhere! I'm shy about speaking to strangers, but occasionally I say to another sly guy, "Great haircut!" Today, I encountered (in a good way) two bald men. One was a young guy, I'd say 20-25, with a 0 buzz. I saw him as I ate my sub at a local shop. I didn't realize it when I got up to leave, but he was directly behind me, so when I saw him, I held the door open. He thanked me (which was natural, but not everyone does it), and then added, "Have a great day!" Not sure our both being bald had anything to do with it.
This evening, when I bought a bottle of wine at the liquor store, a woman (no, she wasn't bald!) was giving out samples of tequila. I said, truthfully, that I didn't care too much for tequila, so she mixed me a miniature tequila sunrise. That was my experience with that drink, and I liked it! I said, again truthfully, that I couldn't taste the tequila. As I was sipping it, I heard a voice behind me say, "Is this the bald head line?" I turned around and saw a gent about my age (61) with a completely smooth scalp. I turned to him and answered, "I guess SO!" I forgot to tell him, "nice haircut." One of the sales clerks was sly, and the other three were almost so. Interestingly, I heard the woman with the tequila say to a couple of other guys, "I need to see an ID before I give you this." She didn't "card" me or the other bald guy!
I have this strange urge to hang around other guys with shaved heads, sort of peer support. Maybe I'll volunteer at a fire house or an army base!
