The Mach 3 is a good razor, i used that for many years and then switched to the hydro 5 merely for price wise, the headslick is also a great product to use, been using headslick for years and will never change, have you thought about exfoliating before or after you shave to get all the dead skin off your head? headblade makes headshed or you can also go with St.ives as well either way its good no matter what you pick. Just being curious what kind of moisturizer are you using, welcome to SBG glad to see you here, the sly look looks great on you!

Welcome OklahomaBald! Lots of good advice here and eventually you will figure out your routine. I like using a shaving oil too with a gel shaving cream applied right on top of that. The shaving oil will eliminate razor rash and help to eliminate nicks. Razor rash is pretty common first time shaving because the scalp isn't use to being shaved. Shaving oil will eliminate that for you. Good luck. You look great shaved.

Thanks guys!
I did start out using the Mach 3 and it worked great, but I have switched to the Schick Quattro just because its cheaper. I have also used disposable razors that I got from Dollar General and surprisingly they worked great plus they were super cheap.
I don't really have a dead skin problem so I don't exfoliate, and for a moisturizer I just use Nivea post shave balm. It seems to work good.

Welcome, Oklahomabald.  Your head looks really shiny with no shadow.  The clean-scalp image really suits you.  Plus, your thick mustache goes well with a bald head.  Congratulations on losing the horseshoe and gaining slyness!

Welcome.  I really like the Gillette Fusion with HeadLube, but you will find what works best for you.  Have fun experimenting.

I also use the Gillette Pro Glide Fusion. I get a really close shave with it and no nicks unless I'm rushing.

I use my Braun all over the head and then Gillette Fusion pro glide on the top as that is only bit that is still a tiny bit rough after using the Braun Series 3 (340).

Welcome to SBG. You look great sly. I usually use a Gillette Mach !!! or a Gillette Fusion razor and headslick and some shavers secret. I hae a Micro1 DE razor also that I am starting to use. I need some more practice with this one but it does a good job and the blades are cheap.
